W. W. Crow Scholarship
The W. W. Crow Scholarship was founded by a gift from the estate of Mr. Crow in honor of the quality care provided by the nursing staff of the former East End Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Crow was a long term member of the health system’s board of directors serving on the board from 1946 until his death in 1972. During his tenure he served as Chairman of the Board from 1966 to 1972.
Mr. Crow was committed to the healthcare of this community, just as he knew the nurses of the former East End Memorial to the present St. Vincent’s East are today.
This annual award is for the purpose of providing educational assistance to employees of St. Vincent’s East who are pursuing a degree in nursing.
